The SC513/WH/G3/B Grade 3 White Surface Door Contact with Magnetic Detection Type B Resistor used For Scantronic, Cooper, Pyronix PCX, Texecom, Castle-Care Tec G3+ are suitable for a wide range of applications and can be used in Ungraded, Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 3 systems. These contacts are required to have a mechanical tamper and/or be potted/sealed. End of Line (EOL) resistors are also an option. They should also detect or be immune to rogue magnets.

A range of contacts in plastic which can be surface mounted and which will suit most domestic and commercial installations.

    The product supplied is not as the description implies. The data sheet download link does not work so I contacted CQR for more details. Their instruction sheet shows a 3 conductor connection giving access to the junction between the switch and tamper resistors but the product supplied has only two connection. The un-energised resistance is 6k9 ohms and the energised resistance 2k2 ohms. So if you want only one of these contacts in a loop this is fine, but if you need a loop with two or more contacts (as shown on the CQR instruction sheet) this contact is not suitable. Emailed CQR who said that the product should have three connections. They have not responded to a second email. In short, the contact is fine for my application but I wasted a lot of time finding out. CQR at fault here I think.
